The Township of Chapple is located within the Rainy River District in Northwestern Ontario and is comprised of nine geographic townships including: Barwick, Dobie, Mather, Tait, Long Sault, Roseberry, Shenston, Potts and Richardson.

Barwick Centennial R.V. Park and Campground
This campground has 15 electrical sites. Dumping station is behind the can-op gas station (Roseberry Runway). Filling station is at R.V.Park. Please put garbage in dumpster by exit.

The Lighthouse
The Lighthouse is located on the waterfront in Barwick, Ontario. It represents the historic ties to the Rainy River and the early settlers of Chapple. Before the railway came through in 1901, the majority of our homestead families, came by steamboat down river from Rainy Lake, or upriver from Lake of the Woods.

One of the main employers in town is Voyageur Panel, an Oriented Strand Board Plant. There are also contractors, trucking and forestry businesses, garages, a gas station and convenience store, a taxidermy and two restaurants.
