Grouse Hunting in Dryden, Ontario, Canada

The terrain around Dryden, Ontario is perfect for grouse hunting. You can hunt grouse on nearby game trails, fields and logging roads. The grouse are plentiful. Enjoy a relaxing day strolling the back trails for Ruffed or Spruce Grouse. Hunting dogs are welcome at some of the lodges and resorts but must meet Canadian boarder regulations with proper papers and shots. Many sportsmen combine their fall fishing trip with hunting for grouse – its makes for a great outdoor experience. The grouse hunting season for the Dryden area (Wildlife Management Area 8) is usually from mid-September to the end of December.
