Special Events and Festivals in Dryden, Ontario, Canada

Dryden is full of special events and festivals year round. Moosefest, a community festival, will be a month long of fun-filled days in the summer. Below is a listing of future events in Dryden, Ontario.

Dryden Winter Festival -Month of February.
Enjoy a pancake breakfast to start off your morning, then go skating indoors or outdoors, ice fishing, snow sculpting, sleigh riding and afterwards warm up to a tasty hot chocolate in front of a bonfire. For more information call 807-223-1426

Conservation Club Sports and Home Show -Mid week in April.

Shaw Walleye Masters Tournament -End of June
Catch & release tournament usually running near the end of June. There are lot's of cash prizes.

Canada Day Celebrations-July 1
held at the Dryden Arena/Cooper Park. There are activities for all ages. Call the Chamber of Commerce for more information at 807-223-2622.

Windsurfing Regatta -Beginning of July

Dryden Dragon Boat Festival -Early July
The races are held on the Wabigoon River at Skene's Landing. This event is in support of local breast cancer initiatives and programs. For more information contact: Brad Coles (807) 223-3424

Quarter Horse Show -Early July
At the Agricultural Society Fairgrounds.

Teddy Bear Picnic -July.
Children can participate in games and story time, meet some of their favourite cartoon bears, have cake with Smokey Bear and make crafts.Held at Pronger Park.

Max the Moose's Birthday- Third week in July.
Everybody welcome. Crafts, games, cake and more.

Dryden Fall Fair -End of August each year.

Home & Trade Show -First to second week in September.
Contact the Chamber of Commerce at 807-223-2622 for more information.

Scarecrow Festival- October.
Scarecrow registrations can be picked up at the Dryden Chamber of Commerce from October 1 to October 15. Judging will take place Mid October, the same weekend as the Retail Promotion weekend. For more information, please call the chamber at 807-223-2622.

Santa Claus Parade - Near the end of November.
