Moosefest is a new summer festival in Dryden lasting almost two weeks. The festivals starts off with a the exciting Dryden Walleye Masters Catch and Release Tournament and the Hog & Rod Bike & Car Show. Various entertainment will be available throughout the entire festival. Other events include Canada Day Events, a Windsurfing Regatta, a Teddy Bear Picnic, a Horse Show and a Men's Slo Pitch Tournament. The Dryden Dragon Boat Festival is held in early July each year at Skene's Landing. The races are held on the Wabigoon River in support of local breast cancer initiatives and programs. For more information contact: Brad Coles (807) 223-3424
Quarter Horse Show is held in early July at the Agricultural Society Fairgrounds.
The Teddy Bear Picnic is held at Pronger Park in July. Children can participate in games and story time, meet some of their favourite cartoon bears, have cake with Smokey Bear and make crafts.

In-Fisherman Professional Walleye Trail is held near the end of July. The City of Dryden, in partnership with the Dryden District Chamber of Commerce, is excited to be the host community of the In-Fisherman Professional Walleye Trail, Elite Super Pro Tournament to be held on the Wabigoon Chain of Lakes. We warmly welcome anglers, both professional and amateur, as well as spectators to Northwestern Ontario for this first-ever held Canadian event.
