Golfing
Ear Falls Golf and Country Club has a scenic 9 hole course on the shores of the English River. Carved from a healthy northern forest of spruce and pine, Ear Falls has rolling fairways and a few steep hills for added difficulty. A river affects play significantly on several fairways, and forces golfers to save their best play for the course's three finishing holes. The golf course also has a driving range, practice green, clubhouse, dining facilities, snackbar/coffeeshop, Pro Shop, Rentals and is also licensed.

Hiking
Pakwash Provincial Park, located 19 km north of Ear Falls, has a beautiful trail that winds through the woods, passes a beaver pond and crosses through a marsh. There are several plaques placed throughout the trail that provide information on a variety of the plant and wildlife that can be seen along the way.
Griffith Mine Interpretive Site, located 20 km north of Ear Falls, provides a network of trails that offer a variety of different routes to hike or bike. The trails span the entire area of the mine, wind around the former open mine pits, and pass the shores of Bruce Lake. A number of interpretive sites, which provide information about the area, are located along the trails. Natural rehabilitation of the mine has created a home for many species of wild life, and as a result a wetland, a moose and beaver habitat, and a waterfowl observation site are present.
Structured public ATV trails: Parts of the Griffith Mine trails are frequented by ATV drivers as well as the network of snowmobile trails surrounding Ear Falls, which are ideal for ATV drivers in the summer months.
