Whether it's the excitement of the fight as you reel in the fish, or simply relaxing in you boat soaking up the sunshine, the Emo area offers Bass fishing at it's best.
Most fishing camps situated near Emo, Ontario fish the Clearwater-Pipestone Chain which offers about 77 miles of connected lakes to explore. Clearwater Lake and Pipestone Lake, along with some small connecting lakes make up the northern half of the system. The southern half consists of smaller lakes with a little more 'stain' to the water and lots of underwater structure. Together this combination produces a very good growth environment for smallmouth bass as well as walleye and northern pike. Two of these lakes are Jackfish and Ottertail. Just to the east of Emo is Devlin, drive north onto Highway 613 which will take you to the Northwest Bay of Rainy Lake. Rainy Lake is another fantastic lake for smallmouth bass fishing.
