Emo, Ontario is located on Highway 11/71 in the Rainy River Region in the southern portion of Sunset Country. Many of the lodges are north of Emo off Highway 615 on the shores of Clearwater Lake and Off Lake. Just west of Emo is Devlin. If you head north on Highway 613 from Devlin, you will find resorts on lakes such as Rainy Lake and Lake Despair. Choose from drive-in lodges or fly-in and boat-in outpost cabins. The hunting opportunities are endless. You can hunt for black bear, moose, whitetail deer, grouse and ducks. Much of the hunting lands are road accessible and public property. You can plan your own trip or use the services of experienced outfitters. The outfitters will provided everything from trip planning and accommodations to complete fully guided hunting packages. Depending on the species you are hunting, you can stay at full-service resorts, housekeeping cabins, campgrounds or hotels and motels. Emo is located in the midst of several Wildlife Management Areas (WMU) including 7B, 8, 9A, 9B, 10, 12A and 12B.
