Emo is just a short drive from the US/Canada border - less than 30 minutes. If you're looking for a resort in Canada, but without driving too far, then you should consider Emo. North of Emo off Highway 615, you'll reach the Clearwater-Pipestone Chain of Lakes. There are both housekeeping cabins and American Plan lodges on this 11-lake chain. You can fish for walleye, northern pike, muskie, smallmouth bass, and trout. If you take Highway 613 and go north from Devlin, Ontario, you'll reach a few resorts on Rainy Lake and Lake Despair. You can also fly out to outposts from some outfitters on Clearwater Lake.
