Fly into remote wilderness lakes from the Emo area - just 50 miles north of the US/Canada border. Drive to the air bases on Clearwater Lake and fly north to the outpost cabins. The fly-in outposts are set in a virgin wilderness surrounded by hundreds of rivers and lakes, many of which have never been fished before! Outposts range from deluxe to rustic, for small groups to large parties.
Fly to outpost cottages on remote lakes from 30 air miles away to over 200 air miles north of the air base. Fly-in outposts that are fairly close are on Berry Lake, Dogfly Lake, Fishtrap Lake, Grant Lake, Loonhaunt Lake and Meggisi Lake. Northern outpost lakes accessed from Emo are lakes such as Austin, Cook, Dobie, Fawcett, Musk, Otatakan, Shabumeni, Snelgrove, Una and Wright.
If you don't like to fly, try staying at a remote boat-in outpost camp. You get all the seclusion, without the flying. Boat to outposts on Jackfish Lake and Ottertail Lake.
If you're planning a fishing trip or a hunting trip, or you just want to spend a week in the wilderness, you won't be disappointed with a outpost rental.
