The three storey log home was built single handedly by Jimmy McOuat in the early part of the century. White Otter Lake also has various pictograph sites and numerous native habitation archaeological sites. The pictographs are Indian Rock Paintings that are up to 2,000 years old. These pictographs on the granite cliffs along the lake shores tell stories of a life past.
If your resort or hotel doesn't have a beach you can enjoy a day at the beach at one of two pristine beaches in the area. There are change rooms, picnic ares, and playground structures. West Beach has an enclosed swimming area that provides increased supervision fro new and beginner swimmers. Agimak Beach also has volleyball nets right on the beach.
