Fall Grouse Hunting in the Ignace Area

Fall grouse hunting in the Ignace area is an adventure in itself. Riding the back roads and trails on your ATV can make for an awesome time. Taking in the beautiful fall colours and the peacefulness of the wilderness only adds to your hunt. The ruffed grouse in the area are plentiful. You'll find them on the trails and in the clear cut areas around Ignace. Many people often combine a fall fishing trip with some grouse hunting.

Hunters are allowed a combined daily limit of ruffed and spruce grouse of 5. The possession limit is a combined total of 15. The season runs from mid September the end of December.
