Directions to Ignace, Ontario Canada
Ignace is located in the heart of Northwestern Ontario's Sunset Country, and is situated on Agimak Lake at the junction of the Trans-Canada Highway and Highway 599. It is a two and a half hour drive to Thunder Bay and a five hour to Winnipeg, Manitoba. If you're coming from the U.S., cross the Canada/United States border at International Falls, MN to Fort Frances Ontario. From there you'll take Highway 11 east for approximately 30 kms (18 miles). Then at the intersection of Highway 11 and Highway 502, make a left and go north on Highway 502 until you get to Highway 17 and the City of Dryden (about 150 kms or 95 miles). Go through Dryden along the Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 17) and head east 105 kms (65 miles) to Ignace.
