Small and Big Game Hunting, Canada

Kenora, Ontario is located off Highway 17 two and a half hours northeast of the Fort Frances/International Falls border or 2 hours east of Winnipeg, Manitoba. The hunting opportunities are endless. You can hunt for black bear, moose, whitetail deer, grouse, geese, ducks and wolf. Much of the hunting lands are road accessible and public property You can also hunt on some of the wilderness islands on Lake of the Woods. You can plan your own trip or use the services of experienced outfitters. The outfitters will provided everything from trip planning and accommodations to complete fully guided hunting packages. Depending on the species you are hunting, you can stay at full-service resorts, cottage rentals, campgrounds or hotels and motels.

Kenora is located in the Wildlife Management Area (WMU) 7B, but you may be hunting in WMU 6 or ones even farther north if you are using a remote outpost camp.
