Pickle Lake has a large arena for hockey gamesm skating as well as figure skating lessons. Phone 807-928-2826.
Curling Rink
Our curling rink has 2 sheets of natural ice for regular scheduled ganes and for numerous bonspiels throught the winter. Phone 807-928-2126.
Bowling
The community hall has two bowling lanes for 5 pin bowling. Open bowling can be arranged by calling our bowling attendant to set up a time. Please ca11 Fred at 807-928-2800 or 807-928-2196 when you would like to have a fun evening our or even a birthday party.
Summer Recreation Program
Each summer the Township of Pickle Lake offers a Summer Recreation Program for children ages 4 to 15. Activities are planned for all ages on a daily basis from Monday to Friday, with occasional activities on the weekend. Posters can be found on bulletin boards in various locations around town or call the Municipal Office at 800-565-9189 for a schedule. Most activities take place in the Community Hall or Arena, with some activities planned at the beach. Other activities may be camp-outs, nature hikes, wiener roasts, sport events, etc. Indoor activities will include baking, craft projects, volleyball or other indoor sports.
