Lodges in the Rainy River Area

The town of Rainy River is situated on the shores of the Rainy River. It is directly across the river from Baudette, Minnesota. Coming from either Highway 11 or Highway 72 in the US you'll reach Baudette and then take the toll free bridge into Rainy River, Ontario, Canada. You'll find resorts and lodges along the Rainy River going north towards Lake of the Woods and of course on Lake of the Woods. You can fish for walleye, northern pike, muskie, smallmouth bass and crappie. If you're planning a hunting trip, you can hunt for black bear, whitetail deer, ducks and waterfowl and wolves.

The Rainy River area is also home to more than over 100 species of birds and makes it a perfect location for birdwatching. Also, if you're planning a family vacation, the resorts and camps in the area also cater to families. If you're looking for a lodge with a campground, you're in luck. They all offer camping as well as cabins. Choose between housekeeping cabins and American Plan packages. Whether you are coming from Winnipeg, Manitoba or from the United States, the lodges are close and easy to get to.
