Red Lake, Canada Canoe Trips

Red Lake, Ontario is a starting point for many Canada canoe trips. Woodland Cariou Park is located to the west of Red Lake. There are boat-in access points to the park, or you can use a canoe outfitter in Red Lake and fly into the park and paddle out. You can also paddle into Woodland Caribou from Atikaki Park in Manitoba and end your trip in Red Lake. Opasquia Wilderness Park is accessed by flying north from Red Lake. Talk about solitude!

You can also paddle many other waterways in the area. Paddle Bloodvein, Berens, Pigeon, Poplar, Fawn, Sachigo, Severn and Sutton Rivers. Your canoe outfitter can help you plan out and map your canoe route.
