Vermilion Bay on Beautiful Eagle Lake
Located along the Trans-Canada Highway and directly on beautiful Eagle Lake, Vermilion Bay, Ontario is a great place to visit and stock up on needed supplies. Vermilion Bay is located at the start of Highway 105, which leads to Ear Falls and Red Lake. Travel by boat to the site of the soapstone quarry on Eagle Lake, or visit Machin Park in Eagle River, site of a former Hudson Bay Post and Northwest Fur Trading Post. Blue Lake Provincial Park There's a variety of accommodations to stay at in Vermilion Bay. Choose between full service American Plan lodges or Housekeeping cabins on lakes such as Eagle Lake, the Indian Lake Chain, Canyon, Cedar, Clay and Richard.
