Wabigoon, Ontario Wabigoon is a small community located on Wabigoon Lake, just east of Dryden, Ontario. The lake is home to many quality fishing resorts and lodges and fishing on the lake is exceptional for walleye and muskie. Northern pike and bass are also in the lake. Area outfitters can also set you up on a guided bear, deer or moose hunt. Wabigoon is located right along the route of the Trans-Canada Highway 17 so the area is very easy to access. This Highway is known for its rugged beauty and the many lakes along the side of the road. As you pass through this small community stop for a while and appreciate the beauty of Northwestern Ontario.
