(Revised)This circa 1920s or 1930s photo shows a cold winter day near Sioux lookout, Ontario. At the height of the Red Lake Gold Rush, planes were critical modes of transportation. Sioux Lookout was an established railway center and many supplies were flown into Red Lake from there. Notice Sioux Mountain in the background.
